I have to admit, I’ve never felt more cut off. After a disagreement, I find myself on the outside looking in, realizing my friends and I might never return to what we once were. It’s scary, and it hurts. The thought of walking through the rest of my senior year alone, without the safety net of people I used to count on, feels like an impossible weight to carry.

I just wish I felt understood. I wish my words weren’t so easily dismissed as “dramatic,” “difficult,” or “the problem.” No matter how carefully I try to explain myself, it’s like my intentions get twisted into something I don’t even recognize.

And look—I’m not perfect. I know I’ve made mistakes, burned bridges, and done things I could have handled better. There are moments I’ve been a walking mess. In the silence that follows, I’ve caught myself wondering: Is this all my fault? Am I the villain in my own story? It’s a hard question to sit with.

But if you’re reading this and you’re sitting in the same uncomfortable space, I need you to hear this: you are not alone.

Life has a way of shaking us up when we least expect it, forcing us to bend so we can grow. Sometimes the rain feels endless, and we’re stuck wondering when the clouds will finally part. But here’s the thing: storms don’t last forever. The rain might soak you, but it’s also feeding the ground beneath you, making space for something new to bloom.

This moment? It doesn’t define you. It’s just a season—a messy, complicated, bittersweet season. And while it feels like everything is crashing down, you’re quietly building the strength to move forward. Even when it feels like standing still is all you can manage, you’re growing in ways you don’t even realize.

So take a deep breath. Let yourself grieve what’s been lost, but don’t lose sight of what’s ahead. Sometimes, the people we think we can’t live without are just temporary characters in our story. Their absence makes room for the ones who will see us, appreciate us, and love us as we are.

In the meantime, lean into yourself. Spend time with the person you are when the world gets quiet. There’s so much power in getting to know yourself, and even more in finding comfort in your own company. Dive into the little things that bring you joy—a favorite book, a sunny walk, or a playlist that feels like a warm hug. Those small moments remind us of the beauty that exists, even when things feel impossibly hard.

You are so much more than what’s happening to you right now. One day, when this storm clears, you’ll see how far you’ve come, how strong you’ve become, and how brightly you shine when you stand in your own light.

Keep going, even if it’s just one small step at a time. The sunshine is waiting for you. You’ve got this. 🌻

All My Love,
